IMHO
Lying to or misleading a shadchan is as stupid as lying to an optometrist during an eye exam for lenses.
Sure the glasses might look good on you, but the prescription is all wrong.

I'd have to agree, but point out that both sides embellish. So u really gotta trust G-d on this one.

The shadchanim lie to the "candidates" too. I have seen happen one too many times.
If you lie and get married then it was decided in heaven that is how you should meet, if you would of been straight forward you would meet a different way.
